Privacy Policy
Last updated · May 30, 2026
Worduello is a real-time head-to-head vocabulary game. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Worduello you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account identifiers. By default Worduello signs you in anonymously, which creates a random account ID with no personal details. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the name and email address that provider shares with us.
- Profile. A username you set, used to display you to opponents and friends.
- Gameplay data. Matches you play, rounds, answers, response times, scores, streaks, and your word-mastery progress.
- Social data. Friends you add and match invitations or invite links you send or accept.
- Purchase data. If you buy a Pro subscription, purchase and receipt information is processed by our payment partner (RevenueCat together with the App Store / Google Play). We do not collect or store your card details.
- Device & local data. Basic preferences and session data are stored on your device so the app can remember your settings.
2. How we use your information
- To run matches and save your game progress.
- To match you with opponents and enable friends and invitations.
- To manage Pro subscriptions and verify entitlements.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Third-party services
We rely on a few trusted providers to operate Worduello. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and realtime services (stores your account, profile, and gameplay data).
- RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and purchase verification.
- Apple & Google — provide optional sign-in and handle in-app billing through their stores.
4. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at atakhakann@gmail.com. We will remove your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
5. Children's privacy
Worduello is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may also be communicated in the app.
8. Contact
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, reach us at atakhakann@gmail.com.
